The Dashboard Sharing Queue in PicPic Social is a tool for monitoring and managing outgoing messages from your event. It allows you to review the status of your shares, and help you reprocess any that weren’t successfully sent.
This guide will go over the sharing queue and how it can help you during and after the event.
Prior to reviewing the Dashboard Sharing Queue, it's important to confirm that your files have been processed by the Device Server or the Launcher.
How To View The Dashboard Sharing Queue
To access the Sharing Queue for your event:
Open your event from the PicPic Social Dashboard.
Navigate to the Actions menu.
Click on Sharing Queue.
Here, you’ll see any text messages that haven't been processed, marked with a "Pending" status. If you want to retry sending them, click the Refresh button to reprocess the pending messages.
Why are my texts Pending?
There are a few common reasons why text messages might remain pending:
Invalid Phone Number: If the phone number you’re trying to send to is invalid, the message will stay in the queue.
Insufficient Credit Balance for International Texts: Sending texts to international numbers requires virtual credits. If your balance is too low, these messages won’t be sent and will remain pending.
Insufficient Credit Balance for MMS: Sending files as attachments (MMS) also requires credits. If your balance is low, your messages will stay pending until you add more credits.
