The Sharing Settings allow you to customize how guests interact with and share content from the event. Each sharing option enhances the guest experience and can be toggled on or off based on your specific event needs.

Email Sharing

  • Email From Name: Define the sender's name that guests will see in their email. This could be your company name, the event's name, or a combination that best represents the occasion.

  • From Address: Please specify the reply-to email address in outgoing emails, ensuring any responses are directed appropriately.

  • Email Subject Line: Customize the subject line to immediately inform guests about the content or remind them of your event.

  • Email Template: Select or customize the template to match your event’s theme.

The way your files are delivered depends on the configuration of your email template. Files can be sent in one of two ways:

    1. As Attachments – Files are included directly within the email, allowing recipients to access them without additional steps.

    2. As Links – Recipients receive a link in the email that redirects them to your Event Microsite, where they can download or share the files.

It’s important to note that only image files smaller than 18 MB can be sent as email attachments. If an image exceeds this size limit, or if a Video file is sent using an attachment-based email template, the system will automatically replace your template with a generic default template. In this case, the file will be delivered as a link to the Event Microsite to ensure the email is sent successfully.

For sharing Videos or large files exceeding 18 MB via email while using a personalized email template, it is recommended to create a template configured to send links to the Event Microsite. This ensures the customized template is used when sending these types of files.

Text Messaging

  • Default Country Code: Set the default country code to optimize SMS delivery for local attendees. While SMS to USA and Canada numbers are included, sending to other regions may require virtual credits.

Learn more about virtual credits here.

  • Predefined Message: Craft a default message that will accompany the shared files, adding a personal touch or event-specific information.

  • Sharing Options: Choose whether to send files as links (SMS) or attachments (MMS).

Important Note: Sending as attachments will consume virtual credits. Please review this guide for more detailed information about text messaging here.

Printing

  • Enable Printing: Activate or deactivate printing capabilities at your event and define the maximum number of prints a guest can select per session.

Detailed setup instructions for connecting the printer to the Launcher can be found here.

AirDrop

  • Enable AirDrop: Allow sharing via AirDrop directly from the PicPic Sharing Station.

This option is available exclusively on iPads using PicPic Share and not on the Virtual Sharing Station.
