How Does AI Work?

With our AI features, you can instantly take your event to the next level. Whether it’s transforming photos with creative effects or bringing them to life as videos, all it takes is a simple prompt.

Best of all, every guest can enjoy their personalized creations right away, shared directly through the Sharing Station.

Once you’ve enabled the AI Add-on in your event settings, the magic happens automatically; every image uploaded through the Launcher is enhanced with the AI mode you choose.

1. Navigate to the AI Add-on.

  1. Log in to your PicPic Social Dashboard.

  2. Create a New Event (or edit an existing one).

  3. Go to the Add-on section and select the AI Add-on.

  4. Please switch the Add-on Status to Enabled.

2. Choose Your Mode

We offer various AI modes, allowing you to select the one that best suits your event’s vibe.

Note: All modes require Virtual Credits except Image Lite.

  • Image Lite (FREE with any Subscription)
It is best suited for simple effects and photos with a single subject. A quick way to add AI enhancements without needing credits.

  • Image Pro

This mode allows for more advanced results. Handles group photos, detailed prompts, and complex effects. You can use it to produce more accurate and creative images, perfect if you want a higher-quality output.

Consumes 4 Virtual Credits Per Image Generated.

  • Video Pro

You can turn any image into a short 5-second video with a prompt. Describe the action you want to see, and watch the photo come to life. With a bit of creativity, you can create unique clips that will make your event stand out.

Consumes 8 Virtual Credits Per Video Generated

  • Combo Pro

This powerful mode combines image generation and animation in a single workflow. You can apply an AI effect to your images and animate the results all at once. Your guests will then be able to share both the picture and the video created in this mode directly from the Sharing Station.

Consumes 10 Virtual Credits Per Image & Video Generated.

3. Enter Prompt

Your prompt is a set of instructions used to process your image or video with AI and generate the desired results. When writing a prompt, it’s best to use natural language to describe the outcome you want clearly.

  • Image Lite Mode: Use keywords or straightforward sentences to describe the changes you want to make to the image.

Image Lite Example: Transform the person in the uploaded image into a colorful, stylized cartoon character with a playful expression.

  • Image Pro Mode: You can provide a more detailed prompt, specifying every aspect of the scene, including background, composition, wardrobe, and other details.

We also allow you to select the aspect ratio of the file. You can choose Square, Landscape, or Portrait to control how the results are displayed. For example, a Landscape aspect ratio may work better for group photos.

Image Pro Example: Turn the person(s) in the uploaded image into a hyper-realistic, cinematic digital painting of a superhero with an athletic, sculpted physique, posed confidently in a full-body, sleek, form-fitting suit inspired by the prominent olive green color of her shirt and necklace as accent hues for dynamic stripes, trim, or the suit's emblem, creating bold and vivid contrast. Place a distinctive, stylized \"PP\" emblem on the chest or shoulder, representing PicPic Social. Maintain the subject’s exact facial structure, expression, and proportions—realistic head-to-body ratio (1:7–1:7.5), no oversized head or limb distortion, and preserve the exact hairstyle, length, and color. Let the rim light gently illuminate the hair edges without altering the shape or length. Position her in ancient ruins: confidently standing among crumbling stone pillars and broken masonry, golden-hour sunlight streaming through overhead gaps, casting dramatic warm highlights on the suit’s reflective surfaces. Integrate photorealistic details—natural skin texture everywhere except the untouched face, highly detailed suit textures (leather, metallic finishes, subtle fabric creases), suit scuff marks, and weathered stonework. Use a 16:9 widescreen landscape orientation, epic low-angle camera upward for heroic scale, razor-sharp focus on face and upper body, subtle background blur, and cinematic lighting with strong rim light, warm key light, and soft fill to prevent harsh shadows. The color palette should be deep, earthy, and rich, harmonizing suit accents with the wardrobe; emphasize realistic sunlight glint and depth-of-field. Maintain each subject's recognizable identity while allowing tasteful attire and expression changes.

  • Video Pro Mode: The prompt should describe a short sequence of 2–3 actions that the subject will perform in the video.

Video Pro Example: The person looks up toward the camera and raises their hand to wave enthusiastically.

  • Combo Pro Mode: Combines Image Pro and Video Pro. It requires two separate prompts: the first generates an image, and the second uses that image as the first frame to create a short video.

First Image Prompt Example: Turn the person(s) in the uploaded image into a hyper-realistic, cinematic digital painting of a superhero with an athletic, sculpted physique, posed confidently in a full-body, sleek, form-fitting suit inspired by the prominent olive green color of her shirt and necklace as accent hues for dynamic stripes, trim, or the suit's emblem, creating bold and vivid contrast. Place a distinctive, stylized \"PP\" emblem on the chest or shoulder, representing PicPic Social. Maintain the subject’s exact facial structure, expression, and proportions—realistic head-to-body ratio (1:7–1:7.5), no oversized head or limb distortion, and preserve the exact hairstyle, length, and color, letting the rim light gently illuminate hair edges without altering shape or length. Position her in ancient ruins: confidently standing among crumbling stone pillars and broken masonry, golden-hour sunlight streaming through overhead gaps, casting dramatic warm highlights on the suit’s reflective surfaces. Integrate photorealistic details—natural skin texture everywhere except the untouched face, highly detailed suit textures (leather, metallic finishes, subtle fabric creases), suit scuff marks, and weathered stonework. Use a 16:9 widescreen landscape orientation, epic low-angle camera upward for heroic scale, razor-sharp focus on face and upper body, subtle background blur, and cinematic lighting with strong rim light, warm key light, and soft fill to prevent harsh shadows. The color palette should be deep, earthy, and rich, harmonizing suit accents with the wardrobe; emphasize realistic sunlight glint and depth-of-field. Maintain each subject's recognizable identity while allowing tasteful attire and expression changes.

Video Prompt Example: Begin on a tight medium shot of the hero’s upper torso, and the camera slowly zooms out to a full‑body view. The hero (subject) stands centered on scorched urban rubble, wearing a sleek suit and a stylised “PP” chest emblem. At the 2-second mark, the ground fractures, sending chunks of debris upward; simultaneously, orange-red flames burst in a semicircle behind the hero. Distant concrete towers crumble in the background; smaller objects ignite and explode in progressive sequence left‑to‑right, producing thick dark‑grey smoke. The hero smiles subtly, lifts their right arm, points toward the camera, and then releases a continuous emerald-green laser beam straight at the lens from second 3. The camera keeps pulling back, maintaining a slight low-angle heroic perspective (≈approximately 15° upward tilt). Visual Style: Hyper‑realistic CGI, cinematic lighting with strong rim‑light on armor edges, warm back‑light from flames, cool front‑fill to balance. Slow‑motion debris (≈50 % real speed) for dramatic clarity; motion‑blur enabled. Color Palette: charcoal, neon green, fiery orange-red, and muted steel greys for ruins.

You can always test your prompt before setting your event live by uploading an image to the Add-on and generating an AI preview. This gives you a better idea of what to expect and lets you send a preview to your clients.

4. Save Changes & Publish Your Event!

Now that you’ve fully configured the Add-on, save your changes and make sure to publish the Event. AI images and videos are only generated once the Event is published.

You’re all set! Any image uploaded to your Event will automatically have the AI effects applied. You can view and share the results directly from the Sharing Station or the Event gallery.

Please note: All images uploaded to the Event while the AI add-on is enabled will be processed and will use Virtual Credits.

5. Hints & Tips...

Before Using AI:

  • Always make sure the Launcher is updated to the latest version.

  • If you are using PicPic Share on iOS, ensure it is updated to the latest version.

  • For faster AI processing, we recommend an internet speed of at least 10 Mbps for both upload and download.
