[A] Export Your Design

Before you can import a design into Snappic you need to Export it from the Paddee editor first.

Click Export and choose between Sample or Final:

Sample: This will export a version of the design with a watermark free of charge. We suggest using this method while testing your designs in your photo booth software.

Final: This will export a version without a watermark but will charge you or deduct a credit from your account.

Then Select the Snappic option from the drop down menu as your software.

[B] Extract The Zipped File

After the file has been downloaded to your PC, go to your Downloads folder and extract the file.

[C] Import Into Snappic

Login to your account at: https://events.getsnappic.com/, if you have an existing event click on the event from your account, if not click on "Create event".

Add the necessary settings until you get to the page that says "Photobooth Template Design", from there click on +Create New Template:

After you click on create new template, you will be taken to a "Template Layout Creator" page:

Now we can begin the import process.

[D] Select The Size of The Template

Choose a frame size, this is the size of the design that you went with. For this guide I chose a 2x6 single strip template so I will select " 2x6" (620 x 1844)":

[E] Upload The Overlay

Upload the overlay by clicking on the Upload Overlay button then navigate to the overlay that was exported from Paddee:

Make sure the opacity is 100%.

[F] Adjust The Frames

IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE FRAME POSITION & SIZE FOR THE PHOTOS TO BE PLACED CORRECTLY, ALL THIS INFORMATION CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE PADDEE EDITOR.

The template used in this guide contains three frames.

  1. Click on +Add Frame

To find out the XY (Coordinate) |WH (Width/Height) information in Paddee:

  1. Make sure the photo place holder is unlocked

  2. Click on the photo place holder

  3. Click XY|WH button

On the right hand side you will see the information that you will need to input on Snappic. Once you've entered all the information in Snappic, press Update.

Repeat the steps above until all the place holders are inserted correctly in Snappic then press Save:

You've successfully imported a Paddee template into Snappic.
