PicPic Launcher lets you upload photos and videos from your iPad directly to a PicPic Social event.
Choose your event and the folder or photo album you want Launcher to monitor. As files are added, Launcher uploads them to your event and displays their progress in the Upload Queue.
PicPic Launcher can also provide access to PicPic Share and the Virtual Sharing Station for guest sharing.
Before We Begin...
Please ensure the following:
PicPic Launcher is installed on your iPad. Download PicPic Launcher from the App Store.
You have your PicPic Social account email address and password.
You have created the event you want to use.
Your iPad has a stable internet connection.
If you're using Print Sharing, your printer is turned on and available to your iPad.
Important: Files uploaded to Draft or Upcoming events will be watermarked. Use a Published event when you're ready for your live event to be watermark-free.
1. Sign In to PicPic Launcher

Open PicPic Launcher on your iPad.
Enter the email address associated with your PicPic Social account.
Enter your Password.
Turn on Remember Me if you'd like Launcher to remember your login.
Tap Sign In.
After signing in, Launcher will display your available events.
Forgot Your Password?
Tap Forgot Password and follow the instructions on the password reset page.
You can also tap the Help icon from the Login screen if you need assistance.

The Events screen displays the available Capture and Share events associated with your account.
Find the event you want to use.
Check its current status.
Tap the blue arrow beside the event.
Events that have ended or expired will no longer appear in the list.
Event Statuses
Launcher displays three event statuses:
Draft - The event has not been published. Files uploaded to a Draft event will contain a DRAFT watermark.
Upcoming - The event has not reached its scheduled start time. Files uploaded to an Upcoming event will contain an UPCOMING watermark.
Published - The event is active and ready for normal sharing. Files uploaded to a Published event will not receive an event-status watermark.
Tip: If you changed the event in the PicPic Social dashboard, tap Update to refresh the event information in Launcher.
The Last Updated time shows when Launcher last retrieved your event information.

After selecting your event, Launcher opens the Watch Folder screen.
A watch folder tells Launcher where to look for new photos and videos.
Tap the + button to add a source.
You can choose between Folder and Library.
Folder
Choose Folder when your event files are stored in Apple's Files app.
This can include folders stored directly on your iPad or cloud storage folders available through Files.
Tap Folder.
Browse to the folder you want Launcher to monitor.
Select the folder.
Tap Open.
The selected folder will now appear on the Watch Folder screen.
Include Subfolders
Turn on Subfolders if you also want Launcher to monitor folders contained inside your selected folder.
Library
Choose Library when your photos and videos are stored in the iPad photo library.
Tap the + button.
Tap Library.
Choose the album you want to use.
Tap Done.
The selected album will appear on the Watch Folder screen.
Existing Files
If your selected folder or album already contains files, Launcher will ask whether you want those existing files uploaded to your event.
Tap YES to upload the existing files.
Tap NO if you only want Launcher to process new files added afterward.
Cloud Folders
If Launcher detects that you're using a cloud storage folder, a cloud icon will appear on the folder, and a notification will appear.
Cloud storage providers may not synchronize files immediately or at regular intervals. Make sure the files needed for your event are available on the iPad.
Start Sharing
Once you've selected at least one valid source, tap Start Sharing.
If Print Sharing is enabled for the event, Launcher will take you to Printer Setup first.
Otherwise, you'll continue to the Upload Queue.

If Print Sharing is enabled for the event, Launcher displays the Printer Setup screen before sharing begins.
PicPic Launcher currently supports AirPrint-compatible printers. Only AirPrint-compatible printers that are available to your iPad can be selected in Launcher.
Before continuing, make sure your printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your iPad.
My Printer Doesn't Appear
PicPic Launcher currently only detects AirPrint-compatible printers.
Confirm that your printer supports AirPrint.
Make sure the printer is turned on.
Make sure the printer and iPad are connected to the same network.
Return to Printer Setup.
Tap Refresh printers.
Select Your Printer
Tap Printer.
Choose the printer you want to use.
Tap Done.
Choose Your Paper Size
Tap Paper Size and select the size you're using.
Choose Fit or Fill
Fit prints the complete image. A blank space may appear if the photo and the paper have different proportions.
Fill fills the entire paper. Parts of the photo may be cropped when the image and paper have different proportions.
2×6 Strip Printing
If you're displaying 2×6 strips that will also be printed, turn on I am displaying 2×6 strips that will be printed.
When you're finished, tap Start Sharing.

After you start sharing, Launcher opens the Upload Queue.
The Upload Queue shows the files being uploaded and their current status.
Uploading
Uploading means the file is currently being uploaded.
Keep the iPad connected to the network while uploads are in progress.
Completed
Completed means the file was uploaded successfully.
When all files are finished, Launcher displays All Uploaded.
Failed
Failed means the file could not be uploaded.
After correcting the network or upload issue, tap Retry All to retry the failed files.
Upload Queue Controls
Update - Retrieves the latest event information and configuration changes from PicPic Social.
Pause - Temporarily pauses ongoing uploads.
Retry All - Attempts to upload any files that previously failed.
Tip: If you've changed something in the PicPic Social dashboard while Launcher is running, tap Update to retrieve the latest configuration.
Exiting the Upload Queue
If you try to leave the Upload Queue while sharing is active, the app may warn you:
"Exiting the Upload Queue will clear any pending or future files that haven't been uploaded yet."
Tap Cancel to stay on the Upload Queue.
Tap Continue only if you're sure you want to exit and stop monitoring pending or future files.
Do not exit the Upload Queue while files are still pending unless you're okay with clearing pending or future uploads.
6. Access PicPic Share or the Virtual Sharing Station

Your event name appears near the top of the Upload Queue.
Tap the Event Name to open Sharing Station Access.
Virtual Sharing Station
The Virtual Sharing Station allows guests to access your event through a web browser.
From this screen, you can:
Scan the QR Code.
Tap Copy Link to copy the Virtual Sharing Station URL.
Tap Open Virtual Sharing Station to open it directly.
PicPic Share
PicPic Share turns another iPad into a dedicated guest sharing station.
From the PicPic Share section, you can:
Scan the displayed QR Code.
Open the How to Install Guide.
Tap Open App Store to download PicPic Share.

Tap the network icon at the bottom of PicPic Launcher to open the Network Menu.
Sharing Settings
Sharing Settings displays information about the current event and sharing session.
Use this screen to confirm your event, watch folder, Launcher connection, and sharing activity.
Speed Test
You can also use Launcher to test your current internet connection.
Open Speed Test.
Tap the center of the screen to begin.
Wait for the test to finish.
When the test finishes, Launcher displays your upload speed and connection rating.
If PicPic Social Support asks for your results, tap Share Results, then Send Report.

My Files Have a Watermark
Check your event status.
Files uploaded to Unpublished / Draft events receive a DRAFT watermark, while files uploaded to Pending / Upcoming events where the date has not yet arrived receive an UPCOMING watermark.
Use a Published event when you're ready for your live event and are ready to proceed watermark-free.
My Cloud Folder Isn't Updating
Cloud storage services may not synchronize immediately.
Make sure the files are available and downloaded to your iPad before starting your event.
A File Failed to Upload
Check the iPad's internet connection.
Return to the Upload Queue.
Tap Retry All after the connection issue has been resolved.
You can also run a Speed Test from the Network Menu. Slow upload speeds can prevent your files from uploading successfully.
My Event Doesn't Appear
Return to the Events screen.
Tap Update.
Check that the event hasn't already ended or expired in your account via the PicPic Social dashboard.
