PicPic Share turns an iPad into a dedicated sharing station for your PicPic Social event. Guests can browse their photos and share them by Email, Text, AirDrop, or Print.
PicPic Share connects directly to PicPic Launcher, which supplies the event and photos that appear on the sharing station.
Before We Begin...
Please ensure the following:
The PicPic Launcher is running on your Windows PC or iOS device. Download PicPic Launcher here. If you haven't set up the Launcher yet, follow our PicPic Launcher Setup Guide first.
The event you want to use is selected in PicPic Launcher.
Your iPad and the device running PicPic Launcher are connected to the same local network.
PicPic Share is installed on your iPad. Download PicPic Share from the App Store.
Important: The first time you use PicPic Share, iOS may ask for permission to find devices on your local network. Tap Allow. PicPic Share needs this permission to find and connect to PicPic Launcher.
1. Connect PicPic Share to PicPic Launcher
1. Connect PicPic Share to PicPic Launcher
Open PicPic Share on your iPad.
The app will automatically search your local network for available PicPic Launchers.
Find your PicPic Launcher in the list.
Tap Connect.
PicPic Share will connect to the Launcher and prepare the currently selected event.
If your Launcher doesn't appear, tap the Refresh icon and check that both devices are connected to the same network.
Tip: PicPic Share uses the event currently configured in the Launcher you connect to. If you need to use a different event, change the event in PicPic Launcher.
2. Choose Your Layout
2. Choose Your Layout
PicPic Share gives you three ways to display event files:
Layout | How Files Are Displayed | Best Use Case |
Classic | One larger photo with other photos available for navigation | A traditional photo booth gallery |
Grid | Multiple photos displayed together in a gallery | Quickly browsing several photos |
1-Up | One photo displayed prominently with a QR code | A simple, focused sharing experience |
You can change the layout later from Settings. You can access Settings by pressing the green connection button in the upper-right corner.
Classic
Classic displays one larger event photo while keeping other photos available for navigation. Guests can browse through the gallery and focus on one photo at a time.
Grid
Grid displays several event photos on the screen at the same time. It provides a quick, organized way to browse and select multiple photos for sharing.
1-Up
1-Up displays one photo at a time and includes a QR code guests can scan with their phone to view and share the image. The QR code links to the single-image Microsite, where guests can access the photo online.
3. Select Files To Share
3. Select Files To Share
As PicPic Launcher receives photos and videos, they will appear automatically in PicPic Share. Guests can browse the available media and select the files they want to share. Selected files appear in the Selected Media area. Up to four media items can be selected at a time.
Guests can also remove an individual selection or use Remove All to clear everything they've selected.
Once the guest has selected their photos, continue to the next screen.
4. Disclaimer & Survey
4. Disclaimer & Survey
If the Disclaimer or Survey has been enabled for the event, those screens will appear during the sharing process.
Disclaimer
A Disclaimer is a notice that guests must review and acknowledge before proceeding. For example: "By continuing, you agree that your photo may be shared by the event organizer."
Survey
A Survey is a set of questions used to collect feedback or information from guests. For example: "How would you rate your experience?" with answer options such as "Excellent," "Good," or "Needs improvement."
If neither feature is enabled, the guest will proceed directly to the Share Screen.
Note: Disclaimer and Survey are optional event Add-ons and will only appear when enabled for the event.

If a share can't be completed immediately, PicPic Share can display it as a Pending Share.
When pending shares are available, use the Pending Shares area to review and reprocess them.
Important: A pending share can only be reprocessed when PicPic Launcher is connected to the same event where that share was created, and pending shares are only available for 7 days after the event.
If you're having trouble sending a pending share, reconnect PicPic Launcher to the original event before trying again. If the event has expired, start a chat with PicPic Social Support so we can review the issue.
