Enabling the Microsite Gallery
Recent updates now clearly indicate when the gallery link is disabled, making it easier to manage. Let's dig into how to enable your gallery.
For Users on the Starter Plan
Go to Your Event:
Open PicPic Social and navigate to the Event View Page where you want to enable the gallery.
Check the Gallery Status:
If the Microsite Gallery is disabled, you'll see an indicator that says "Gallery Disabled."
Hover over this message, which will redirect you to the Microsite Add-on settings for your event.
Enable the Gallery:
You will see two Public Microsite options:
Public Microsite (Gallery Disabled)
Public Microsite (Gallery Enabled)
Select Gallery Enabled and click Save & Close.
Confirmation:
Your Microsite Gallery is now active!
When you redirect to the Event View Page, you'll see the Microsite Gallery URL.
Duplicate Your Events to Save Time
If you don't want to adjust your Microsite setting every time you make an event, you can simply copy an existing event with the already-enabled settings.
When you copy an event, all the settings from the original event, such as whether the Microsite Gallery is on or off, will be the same for the new event.
For Users on a Plan with Customizable Microsites
Navigate to Microsite Templates:
On the left-hand menu, go to Templates → Saved Microsites.
Edit a Template:
Select the Microsite Template you want to modify and click the Edit pencil icon.
Enable the Gallery:
Under the General Tab, locate the Privacy Section.
Find the option "Enable Gallery Page" and check the box.
Save Your Changes:
Click Save, and your customized Microsite will now have the gallery enabled.
Disabling the Microsite Gallery
To turn off the gallery, follow the steps above, but select Gallery Disabled instead of Gallery Enabled.
