How To Add Effects To Text in Paddee

This guide will show you how to add effects to your text in Paddee.

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to show you how to add effects to text within the Paddee editor. Please refer to How To Edit Your First Paddee Template if you require additional information on adding Text to your design. The current effects are available: Drop Shadow, Stroke, Warp, Concave, Convex and Overlay.

Required Steps

[A] Drop Shadow
[B] Stroke
[C] Warp
[D] Concave
[E] Convex
[F] Overlay

[A] Drop Shadow 

A drop shadow is a visual effect consisting of a drawing element which looks like the shadow of an object, giving the impression that the object is raised above the objects behind it.

[B] Stroke

A stroke is a visual attribute that you can apply to a path. A stroke can have a defined width, color or a number of other properties.

[C] Warp

Warp text is a quick and easy way to bend text.

[D] Concave

Concave means curving in or hollowed inward, as opposed to convex.

[E] Convex 

Convex, meaning "curving out" or "extending outward".

[F] Overlay

Overlay, cover the surface of (something) with a coating.
